Drive, dedication, commitment – these are all traits that runners at Tampa Prep possess. Track & Field requires athletes to compete in multiple events through the course of meets that span several hours. Their ability to maintain focus, despite fatigue, is an integral part of success on the track that is mirrored in their lives off the track.
Our daily training schedule is rigorous and involves current training techniques from the track world. Athletes train and compete from January to May with the season culminating at the State Championships. Tampa Prep Track & Field, like all teams at Tampa Prep, has its sights set on an appearance at the State meet year in and year out for both the girls and boys teams.
