ALUMNI PRESENT AWARDS

Alumni Board President, Patricc Petti '81, presented the annual Alumni Association Faculty Award to longtime faculty member, David Couchman. Mr. Couchman was selected by vote of alumni. He is the 21st teacher to be so honored since 1990. The awards venue was the 2010 Senior Celebration before an assemblage of graduating seniors and their families. Dan Gorda '98 and Lauren Cury '97 assisted with the award, adding their memories of Mr. Couchman as well as sharing quotes from other alums about him.

The Alumni Spirit Award was presented to Gytis Garsis, graduating senior. The Spirit Award is given to the student who, during his or her time at Tampa Prep, contributed a sense of positive, constructive spirit, good humor and lightheartedness, adding to the feeling of fun and good will at the School.

Alumni and faculty runners turned out for the Miles for Moffitt benefit run to have fun and support a worthy cause. Go Terrapins!
