Sports Boosters

The Tampa Prep Sports Boosters Club

The purpose of the Tampa Prep Sports Boosters is to promote excellence in the School’s sports program by providing support to all Middle and Upper School teams. Families are assessed an annual dues of $30.00, which appears on fall billing statements.

The Sports Boosters budget is a welcome supplement to the regular Athletic Budget and provides funding for: 

• End-of-season awards parties:  Each team receives $7 per Upper School student-athlete and coach or $5 per Middle School student-athlete and coach

• Sports awards such as letters, pins, and/or placques, gym banners and updates

• Lodging and meals for coach seminars and clinics (Florida Coaches Association only)

• Coach clothing: Each coach receives one Tampa Prep coach shirt and what may be required for coaches, i.e. as a ball cap for baseball.

• Concession stands: Open at many of our indoor and outdoor contests, the stands are provided  start-up cash for Sam’s Club purchases, and to pay concession worker wages (University of Tampa students).  All  profits or losses of sales go to the Sports Boosters account.
