* READ DIRECTIONS BELOW: YOU MUST BRING PRINTED QUOTE IN ORDER TO DROP OFF BOOKS
This year you have two opportunities to sell your student's books back to our online supplier, MBS Direct, for cash or credit.
- May 25, 2012, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Tampa Prep: bring in your books (see steps below) and they will be boxed and shipped to MBS Direct for your convenience.
- From May 26, 2012 until June 15, 2012: box and ship the books from your home (see steps below). MBS Direct will provide you prepaid return shipping labels.
For your reference, download the color-coded list of Tampa Prep Textbooks 2012-2013 to see which books we will continue using next year. Please follow the process below to sell any books you no longer want. (Keep in mind any younger siblings who may need textbooks in coming years that you already have.)
- Go to our Virtual Bookstore at http://bookstore.mbsdirect.net/tampaprep.htm and click on "Sell your Books."
- Create a New Customer Account/Profile - enter your email address. This will be your username.
- Books that are NOT HIGHLIGHTED or highlighted in RED on the textbook list are buy back candidates. Enter the ISBN number of each book you want to return and click on "Price My Books."
- Enter your mailing information, select your payment option and create a password.
- Print your quote for the books that MBS Direct will accept. There will be one quote sheet for every six books.
If you bring your books to the School on May 25, 2012, bring 2 copies of each MBS Direct quote sheet. A quote sheet will be included with the books in their shipping containers.
If you cannot bring your books and quotes to the School on May 25, 2012, STARTING MAY 26th, you can ship the books from your home to MBS Direct. They will provide you with prepaid shipping labels. You will have to box up the books for shipment.
THE LAST DAY FOR BOOK BUYBACK IS FRIDAY, JUNE 15, 2012. THE SCHOOL WILL NOT ACCEPT OR PROCESS ANY RETURNED BOOKS AFTER MAY 25, 2012.
MBS Direct will send you an email when they have received and processed the books that you have returned. They will mail you a check, or credit your Paypal account (your choice). Please allow 2-4 weeks for the entire process. Contact Nancy Horbert at nhorbert@tampaprep.org or 813.251.8481 x4093.
