Terrapins Celebrated in Title IX Commemoration

Title IX has been a catalyst in the rise of girls and women's sports. To commemorate the 40-year anniversary of Title IX, The Tampa Tribune remembers 40 female athletes from Hillsborough County who made a significant impact. Tampa Prep's Chelsea Nauta '07, Sarah Peifer '96 and Lyra Vance '84 were honored for their athletic fortitude.
