B. Steps for Applying for Financial Aid
1. Starting on November 1, go to sss.nais.org/parents. Click on the "Apply Now" button and set up on online account using your email address and complete the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS). The SSS code for Tampa Preparatory school is (#7612). Submit and pay for the PFS ($39) by January 15th.
2. Mail photocopies of your most recently filed Federal tax form 1040 with all attached schedules, W-2's and signed Form 4506-T to Tampa Preparatory School, Office of Financial Aid at 727 W. Cass Street Tampa, FL 33606, before January 15th.
3. Mail photocopy of last year’s W-2's and Federal tax forms to Tampa Preparatory School along with all supporting schedules to be received by March 15th.
C. Late Applications /Missed deadlines
Financial Aid applicants, who do not adhere to the deadlines above may still qualify for assistance in which case, the applicant will be put on a waiting list for financial assistance. Should any funds remain or become available after the first round of decisions are made, students on the waiting list will be notified. Families who do not qualify for assistance based on the SSS report and Federal tax forms will receive a letter informing them that they do not qualify for financial assistance.
Families applying for admission and Financial Aid after the deadline dates risk not receiving aid for the upcoming school year. While Tampa Preparatory School has a generous Financial Aid budget, there are simply never enough funds to support all families seeking assistance.
