Monday (5/21) – English, Arts Tuesday (5/22) – Science Wednesday (5/23) – Foreign and Classical Languages Thursday (5/24) – History Friday (5/25) – Math EXAM HOURS: Morning Exams: 9:00 – 12:00 p.m. (Extended Time 9:00 – 12:00 noon) Afternoon Exams: 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. (Extended Time 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.) * Students who are finished with exams after 2 hours will be dismissed at that time.

Science Olympiad Team Takes Fourth at State

During Spring Break, Tampa Prep's Science Olympiad team traveled to the University of Central Florida in Orlando to participate in the Science Olympiad state competition. Our team of fifteen students competed against forty-four other schools in 23 different events that range the spectrum of science subjects. The students competed in hands-on, interactive, inquiry-based activities in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, earth space science, and engineering. Although this is Tampa Prep's first year involved in the Science Olympiad, our Terrapins won medals in a number of events and their overall score placed our team in fourth place! The team looks forward to returning to the state competition next year and hopes to compete at the national level.

City Celebrates Prep's 2 STATE CHAMPION TEAMS

Red and Gold lit the Downtown Tampa sky as the SunTrust Tower ziggurat honored our Tampa Prep Terrapins' TWO State Champion teams: Boys Soccer and Boys Basketball. The Varsity Boys Soccer team earned its fifth State Championship title since 2005 while the Varsity Boys Basketball team brought home the team's first State Championship trophy. Congratulations to both teams for their tremendous seasons and well-deserved STATE TITLES!

This morning the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners recognized the Tampa Prep Varsity Boys and Girls Swim team for their unparalleled reputation and longstanding record of outstanding accomplishments. The Tampa Prep Swim team, coming off one of the best years in school history, complied many accomplishments and accolades, including both teams winning the regional championships in the same season for the first time in school history. The two teams also combined to break 18 school records, the most ever in one season at Tampa Prep! The girls finished the season undefeated, culminating with a 6th place finish at states. Along the way, both teams won numerous individual medal and team awards to make it truly one of the most successful seasons in school history. The Board of County Commissioners recognized the team at their monthly meeting, providing them with a certificate during the session, broadcast on public access.
