Naviance is a system that assists seniors and second semester juniors in their college admissions search. Forms specific to seniors and second semester juniors are available through the 'document library' from the Naviance/Family Connection account. The 'document library' is located on the top right of the Naviance/Family Connection welcome page.
Download the Naviance Family Connection (PDF) document for an overview on how to best utilize Naviance. This guide is distributed to each student at the college planning retreat for juniors held the first week in January and to parents of juniors at the informational meeting held in December.
Service hours are required for the purposes of the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship program (For details, see the Financial Aid Information at the bottom of our College Search page). Students must log their service hours via x2VOL through their Naviance/Family Connection accounts. Students are introduced (or reintroduced) to this online account each school year beginning in the second semester of their freshman year.
