Julius Darren Davis is a native of Tampa, Florida. He attended Chamberlain High School, played football, and was a member of the track and field team before graduating in 1987. Julius was immediately accepted to University of South Florida where he majored in Electrical Engineering and was actively involved with the National Society of Black Engineers which he was chapter treasurer, vice-president, two-term president, and regional parliamentarian.

Julius Davis is President and CEO of VoltAir, Inc, a privately owned corporation, that affords mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and information technology engineering design and electrical contracting services for commercial building types with offices located throughout the southeast states serving clients all over the United States. Julius has more than 23 years of experience in all phases of engineering services for a variety of building types including airports, hospitals, correctional facilities, schools, office buildings, etc.
