Dr. Mili Patel was born in Baltimore, MD but has lived in Tampa since she was 2 years old. Her parents are first- generation immigrants from India that brought our family to the states for a better life full of opportunities.Dr. Patel achieved her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville in 2002.

Prior to that she earned her undergraduate degree at Tulane University where she received her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Cell and Molecular Biology.Dr.Mili Patel always had an entrepreneurial ambition. She started her first location in Dade City, FL in 2004 and eventually by 2007, had 3 dental practices of her own.

Her husband , Sachin was in real estate at the time and wanted to merge their expertise and start Smile Design Dentistry. They now have 54 locations in Central Florida and still growing. Dr. Patel is admired by her peers and patients alike.

She is a mentor Doctor within her organization as well as a part time faculty member at Lecom Dental school and Nova southeastern Dental school. She takes pride in achieving the highest quality care for her patients through continuous dental education into the latest technologies.

Dr. Patel has been married since 2002 and has three beautiful children, Aleena 10 grade, Niam 7th grade and Kayden 6 years old. She loves to spend her free time traveling but most importantly, relaxing with her family. She is excited to be part of the Tampa Prep Terrapin family as well as the Board of Trustees.
