From the earliest age that I can remember I have had one true love: sports. At age three, I would plead with my mom to change the television from Sesame Street to SportsCenter. Growing up in upstate New York, my dream was always to be the next Chris Berman or Stuart Scott, coming up with great sayings like Booyah! As I got into high school and realized that being the next great SportsCenter anchor might be more of a pipe dream, I changed my focus and dream to be an Athletic Director. After graduating from high school, I ended up in the Sunshine State at the University of Tampa where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management. In college I was a member of the golf team and worked in the Sports Information Office. Going to a small school gave me a great opportunity to work and experience things in a collegiate Athletic department that I otherwise would not have been able to.

My senior year I was given a chance to intern at Tampa Prep in the Athletic department, and they have not been able to get rid of me since. Tampa Prep is like no school I have ever been at, the caring support for the students shown by the faculty, staff and coaches is unprecedented. Tampa Prep has given me a chance to fulfill a dream that only a couple of years ago didn’t seem possible.
