After graduation from the University of Florida with a degree in Business Administration, I joined the world of retail as a fashion buyer. The skills and traits I needed to succeed weren’t associated with the glamorous descriptions of fashion buying, but instead, strong analytical skills, a working knowledge of computers and the ability to work under pressure. After 13 years in the industry, traveling to NYC and various trade shows, I decided to retire to spend time with my young family. Twelve years later in 2011, after working in Admissions and Development at St. John’s Episcopal School for two years, I found the perfect position as an Administrative Assistant to the Director of the Middle School, in an independent school environment surrounded by students, parents, faculty and staff.

From data entry to event planning, I’ve done it all. The skills I’ve acquired through my education, work experience and volunteer hours have equipped me to meet a diverse array of responsibilities and my days are never dull. In addition, I am the buyer for the campus store! I am blessed to have my three children, Jimmy (Class of ’15), Emily (Class of ’16) and Lili (Class of ’21), attend Tampa Prep. Go Red, Go Gold, Go Prep.
