Terrapin Artists to be Featured at Skate Park of Tampa's 25th Anniversary Celebration

Nine Tampa Prep Upper School students are helping to celebrate the Skate Park of Tampa's 25th anniversary with their art.

Sophomore, Jaden G. is woking on his skateboard deck.

The students worked with Art Instructor Mrs. Martha DeAmbrose to create six hand-painted skateboard decks, which will hang amongst pieces by world-renowned artists at The Bricks of Ybor on November 10 at 8 p.m.

The artists had one week to design and present the boards. Some students decided to work together, while others worked on the project individually. We even had alumnus David Bozeman '17 join us in designing his own deck.

Acclaimed California artist Andrew Schoultz will have 15 skateboards on display alongside additional artist's boards. These unique pieces of art will be available for purchase, and all proceeds benefit the local nonprofit Boards for Bros.
